We welcome your assistance in providing all kinds of material and financial aid. Here are the items that are always in need:
Meal Service
We are in need of serving utensils and coffee supplies for meals:
- Paper plates
- Napkins
- Large to-go containers (biodegradable)
- Hot liquid cups
- Ground coffee (Folgers, Maxwell House, Peet’s, etc.)
- Hot chocolate
- Sugar, coffee creamer
Hygiene & Household Products
- Toilet paper
- First aid supplies
- Cough drops
- Chapsticks
- Personal wipes
- Feminine maxi pads
- Toothpaste and toothbrushes
- Shaving supplies (disposable razors and shave cream)
- Laundry pods or sheets
- Shampoo and conditioner
- Soap and body wash
- Lotion
- Deodorant
- Adult incontinence products (Depends, underwear liners, etc.)
- Eyeglasses and reading glasses
- OTC medications (painkillers, cough remedies, etc)
Food Pantry
For many people the Welcome Table provides the mid-week nutrition until their next visit to the food bank. We are especially in need of:
- Instant meals
- Rice/noodles/beans
- Canned goods
- Peanut butter or other nut butters
- Canned tuna and other canned meat
- Snacks
Shelter and Cold Weather Gear
- Blankets
- Tents
- Tarps
- Sleeping bags
- Sleeping pads
- Basic cooking gear
- Warm outer layers
- Beanies and hats
- Gloves
- Waterproof layers
Clothing
We request that all donated clothes are seasonally-appropriate and in clean and good condition.
- Men’s and women’s winter coats and waterproof outerwear
- Men’s work clothes (hoodies, sweatshirts, flannel shirts, jeans, khakis, long underwear, t-shirts, etc.)
- Work boots or shoes
- Kid’s clothes and shoes
- Men’s and women’s underwear
- Socks, socks, socks
Pick-up and Drop-off
You can bring any donations on Saturdays between 11:00 and 11:30 at Body of Christ Church: 1320 SW 102nd St., Seattle, WA 98146 (2 blocks east of McLendon’s Hardware)
